Advantages of our international motorcycle shipping
From the first quote to port collection, AA Motorcycle Shipping is built around making international shipments straightforward — not stressful.
Door-to-Port Service
We pick up your motorcycle at your US address and coordinate everything through to the destination port — domestic truck leg and ocean crossing as one service. No need to arrange your own port drop-off.
Weekly Sailings
Regular weekly RoRo sailings from multiple US ports to destinations across Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. Set departure dates mean predictable arrival windows you can plan around.
Cost Transparency
Shipping costs depend on your US pickup location, motorcycle size, departure port, destination, and shipping method. We provide clear quotes tailored to your specific shipment — no guesswork, no hidden fees.
Customs Broker Included
A licensed customs clearance broker is assigned to your shipment at booking for all international destinations. Their details appear on your Document Receipt — they handle import clearance at the arrival port on your behalf.
Military & Veteran Discount
Military, veteran, and first responder discounts available on all international shipments. Submit a quote online and call 1-888-347-1391 to apply the discount before booking.
In Business Since 1983
Over four decades of motorcycle shipping experience. AA Motorcycle Shipping has coordinated thousands of international shipments — we know the routes, the ports, and the process inside out.
AA Motorcycle Shipping — setting the standard since 1983
Every international shipment is handled to the same standards that have made us a trusted name in motorcycle transport for over 40 years.
- Reliability: Trusted name in motorcycle transportation since 1983 — safe, secure delivery of motorcycles to destinations worldwide.
- Competitive rates: Affordable door-to-port pricing without compromising on service quality or handling standards.
- Safety first: Enclosed trucks with liftgates ensure motorcycles are loaded and unloaded securely on the domestic leg.
- Instant quotes: Get a quote online or over the phone — available 7 days a week at 1-888-347-1391.
- Experienced coordination: We manage the full journey — pickup, domestic transport, port loading, ocean crossing, and customs broker assignment.
- Specialized motorcycle shippers: We ship motorcycles exclusively — not a general freight broker. Every process is built around two-wheeled vehicles.
Palletized vs non-palletized — the US domestic leg
Every international shipment begins with an enclosed truck run from your US pickup address to the departure port. Two domestic leg options are available — choose based on your bike and budget.
RoRo and container — how your motorcycle crosses the ocean
Two ocean shipping methods are available on most international routes. Your method determines which US departure ports are available and — on some routes — which arrival port your motorcycle docks at.
RoRo — Roll-On/Roll-Off
Standard — most routes and most riders
Your motorcycle is ridden aboard the vessel and secured on the car deck for the ocean crossing. RoRo operates on set weekly departure schedules, is cost-effective, and keeps your motorcycle fully enclosed within the ship’s hull throughout transit. The right choice for any operational motorcycle on any route. Requires the motorcycle to be rideable.
Container Shipping
Premium — high-value, vintage & inoperable bikes
Your motorcycle ships in a sealed steel container — fully isolated from other cargo for the entire journey. Container shipping is available on most routes and is the correct method for inoperable motorcycles that cannot roll onto a RoRo vessel. Also recommended for rare, vintage, or collector-grade bikes where maximum protection justifies the added cost. Containers depart when full — scheduling may be less fixed than RoRo.
Choosing the right international motorcycle shipping company
Not all motorcycle shippers are the same. Here’s what to look for — and how AA Motorcycle Shipping measures up.
- Reputation: Look for a proven track record and verified customer reviews. AA Motorcycle Shipping has 3,083 verified reviews and a 4.7-star rating.
- Experience: Choose a company that specializes in motorcycles — not general freight. We’ve shipped motorcycles exclusively since 1983.
- Competitive rates: Get multiple quotes and compare. AA offers competitive door-to-port rates with no hidden fees.
- Modern equipment: Enclosed trucks with liftgates, proper tie-down systems, and air-ride trailers for palletized shipments.
- Customs coordination: A good shipper assigns a licensed customs broker at booking — not after the motorcycle arrives at the port.
- Instant quotes and transparency: You should know your costs upfront. Get a quote online at any time or call 1-888-347-1391.
- Full journey coordination: Look for a company that manages the domestic leg and the ocean leg — not just one or the other.
Google reviews — AA Motorcycle Shipping
“My experience with AA Motorcycle Shipping was excellent. My Softail HD is spotless with no blemishes — it was picked up in Wisconsin and dropped off in California in the same condition. The staff and drivers were kind and professional. I would highly recommend them.”
